This may be the only June layout I complete with packing and moving, both of my kiddos birthdays and a Garth Brooks concert at the end of the month my plate it overflowing-and I am so excited about it all! I did take the time to do this layout because I am always inspired by double sketches. Stick it Down provided this great sketch:

Recently I took a job as a freelance craft writer and I see a lot of quilt patterns that have inspired me to incorporate that look into my scrapbooking. I stumbled upon a similar design a while ago (I wish I would have saved the link!) and it really inspired me-I have just been waiting for the perfect time to use it!
Buying a house has kept me on a budget (more so than usual) and I have been itching for new supplies. A few days ago I went to Walmart and found some things that would not normally catch my eye...one of which were drawer/shelf liners in a bright sunny yellow, I used these for the circles in the layout! Also, I found clearance Duck Tape that is actually fabric-I thought it was perfect for my quilt inspired layout! What do you think? What are some of the weirdest materials you have used for scrap'n?
Thanks!
